Nigel Havers presents a new BBC One Series, The Bidding Room, in which a group of dealers attempt to outbid each other to buy items brought in by the public. Before entering the bidding room, each seller meets Nigel and auctioneer Simon, to get a value for their item. If the dealers like what they see, then they’ll bid against one another to try to buy it. The more dealers who bid, the more chance the seller has to push up the final price tag.
