For twenty years C4 have been following the lives of 5 remarkable children all born with disabilities. With unprecedented access to their lives we have been capturing their extraordinary journeys.
Over the past two decades the children and their families have been brought together through this unique documentary series, forming lifelong friendships. We last caught up with the families in 2016, this time we’ve returned to film them during one of the most important years of their lives as they step out into the world as adults; and while some are heading off to University or embarking on careers, others are fighting for their lives.
